Solution Architect (Enterprise Network Security)

What you will do

• Design and develop enterprise networking, data center, and security architectures for new and existing clients.
• Translate business and technical requirements into High-Level Designs (HLD) and Low-Level Designs (LLD).
• Lead technical workshops, discovery sessions, and architecture reviews to validate solutions against performance and security needs.
• Partner with account managers to support RFP/RFI processes, proposal development, and Statement of Work (SOW) creation.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering and delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain internal standards and best practices for infrastructure and security solutions.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in network, data center, and security engineering or architecture.
• Deep technical expertise in HPE Aruba Networking and HPE Juniper Networking solutions.
• Proven track record in consulting, professional services, or systems integration roles.
• Strong ability to communicate complex technical architectures to both technical teams and executive leadership.
• Must be based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
• Ability to travel up to 30% to support customer engagements and project activities.

Nice to have

• Relevant certifications: HPE Aruba (ACSA, ACSP, ACDX), HPE Juniper (JNCIS, JNCIP, JNCIE), Cisco (CCNP, CCIE), Palo Alto (PCNSE), or Fortinet (NSE/FCX).
• Experience with cloud networking and hybrid architectures in Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Familiarity with network automation tools such as Python, Ansible, and APIs.
• Previous experience working for a VAR or managed services provider.
