What you will do

• Provide daily support to production operations, focusing on safety, process quality, and equipment uptime in press and testing systems.
• Drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions for specific manufacturing and quality issues.
• Provide technical direction to skilled trades personnel for repairs, adjustments, and system improvements.
• Troubleshoot process and equipment problems to eliminate scrap, rework, and unplanned downtime.
• Maintain process documentation, including FMEA databases, machine drawings, and Job Instructions.
• Lead continuous improvement projects and support the launch of new or modified equipment.

Requirements

• 3+ years of process engineering experience in a manufacturing plant setting.
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a relevant technical field.
• Ability to work 2nd shift and overtime as required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel) and Power BI.
• Knowledge and ability to implement lean manufacturing principles.
• Must not require immigration sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to have

• 5+ years of process engineering experience.
• Experience working in a union/represented environment.
• Knowledge of Global Manufacturing System (GMS) principles.
• Proven project management and mentoring skills.
