Senior Technical Accountant

What you will do

• Own the monthly revenue close process, including flux analysis and renewals reconciliation.
• Research and document accounting positions for complex transactions like contract modifications and variable consideration.
• Prepare and review stock-based compensation accounting (ASC 718) and disclosures.
• Manage consolidated financial statements and entity-level reporting for lender compliance.
• Advise Finance, Legal, and Product teams on the accounting implications of new business decisions and go-to-market offerings.
• Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors for revenue and equity-related items.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and active CPA required.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience with a focus on technical accounting.
• Big 4 or public accounting audit background.
• Deep knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition and ASC 718 stock-based compensation.
• Experience preparing or reviewing consolidated financial statements.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to manage large data sets across multiple systems.

Nice to have

• Experience with NetSuite and Carta.
• Familiarity with Blackline or similar close management tools.
• Background in a high-growth, venture-backed SaaS company.
• Demonstrated experience using AI tools for technical research or accounting operations.
