What you will do

• Lead and mentor a team of software and machine learning engineers focused on Shopping Ads targeting and ranking.
• Drive technical execution for Dynamic Product Ads and Product Listing Ads across the ads platform.
• Act as a hands-on technical leader by contributing to architecture reviews and solving complex production issues.
• Partner with cross-functional teams including ML Platform, Ads Serving, and Data Science to define roadmaps.
• Improve system scalability, latency, reliability, and experimentation quality.
• Establish strong engineering practices around system design, code quality, and production ownership.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software or ML engineering experience, including leadership roles.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Strong technical depth in ads ranking, retrieval, recommendation systems, or ML-driven optimization.
• Experience building and operating large-scale distributed systems in production.
• Proven ability to operate as a technical lead manager (TLM) driving architecture and execution.
• Experience partnering with Product, Data Science, and Infrastructure stakeholders.
