Location: Must be based in or able to work from Bellevue, WA; Seattle, WA; or Washington, D.C. (Hybrid role with in-office expectations)

Salary: $197,800 – $272,050 USD

What you will do

• Serve as the primary internal subject matter expert on global regulatory frameworks including DORA, NIS-2, EU AI Act, and antitrust regimes.
• Lead the strategic implementation of legislative requirements and own the centralized regulatory roadmap and incident response playbooks.
• Partner with Engineering and Product teams to embed regulatory compliance by design into the Data Intelligence Platform and agentic AI workflows.
• Collaborate with Commercial and GTM Legal teams to unblock high-stakes enterprise deals and draft specialized negotiation fallbacks.
• Act as the regulatory point of contact for white-glove customers in highly regulated sectors like financial services and the public sector.
• Support international expansion efforts by navigating local AI and data regulations and future-proofing for data sovereignty.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience at a nationally recognized law firm or in-house legal department with a focus on technology or regulatory matters.
• J.D. from a top-tier law school and member of a state bar in good standing.
• Demonstrated experience advising on global data, digital, or technology regulation.
• Experience supporting SaaS, cloud, or data-platform products.
• Ability to partner directly with Engineering, Product, and Security teams to operationalize requirements.
• Must be able to work from Bellevue, Seattle, or Washington D.C.
