Human Factors Engineer

What you will do

• Coordinate HFI activities across the entire product development lifecycle.
• Translate user needs into technical system requirements and specifications.
• Apply systemic approaches to evaluate interactions between hardware, software, and operator environments.
• Ensure human-centered design methodologies are integrated into project workflows.
• Plan, execute, and document tests to verify and validate system requirements.
• Act as the primary point of contact for HF issues with customers and multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Product Design, Industrial Design Engineering, Ergonomics, Cognitive Science, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of product-centric systems engineering.
• Ability to work in a structured, self-motivated manner within a project team.
• Strong communication skills to manage internal and external stakeholders.
• Must be able to work onsite in Göteborg.

Nice to have

• Experience with Figma and Jira.
• Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator.
• Familiarity with the INCOSE framework or systemic safety.
• Experience with formal ergonomics evaluation methods (REBA, RULA, NIOSH, VR, or mannequin-based testing).
