TL;DR

Lead Product Architect (Automotive): Leading advanced engineering initiatives for heavy vehicles with an accent on complete vehicle system architecture, field validation, and cross-functional collaboration. Location: Must be based in Götene, Sweden

Salary: 53,333 SEK – 66,667 SEK (gross per month)

What you will do

  • Coordinate product architecture activities for advanced engineering projects.
  • Define and evaluate complete vehicle system architectures.
  • Support the development of innovative electrified and hybrid vehicle concepts.
  • Plan and execute field tests and validation activities.
  • Analyze test results to drive data-based engineering decisions.
  • Collaborate with workshops, mechanics, and engineering teams to ensure project success.

Requirements

  • MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
  • 7–10 years of experience in automotive or heavy vehicle engineering.
  • Fluent English proficiency.
  • Strong experience in mechanical design and system architecture.
  • Hands-on knowledge of vehicle functionality and operation.
  • Ability to travel 2–3 days per month.

Nice to have

  • Experience with field testing and vehicle trials.
  • Knowledge of hybrid and electrified powertrains.
  • Truck driving license.
  • Swedish language skills.
