Application Development Services Associate Consultant (Microsoft 365)

Location: Tokyo, Japan. Full-time work eligibility in Japan is required.

What you will do

• Support the development, testing, maintenance, and enhancement of business applications and technology solutions.
• Follow established development methodologies, coding standards, and software engineering best practices.
• Investigate and resolve technical issues to support reliable system performance.
• Create technical designs, test cases, user guides, and operational documentation.
• Collaborate with consultants, developers, project teams, and stakeholders during enterprise client projects.
• Develop technical, consulting, and communication skills while learning new technologies and tools.

Requirements

• Eligibility to work full-time in Japan.
• Full professional proficiency in Japanese, written and spoken, and written English communication skills.
• Basic understanding of application development, software development lifecycle, testing, and debugging.
• Experience with at least one of Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript, plus database fundamentals and SQL.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, ownership, accountability, and learning agility skills.
• Interest in business processes and a collaborative approach to working with project teams.

Nice to have

• Exposure to cloud technologies, DevOps practices, enterprise applications, or low-code platforms.
