Location: Must be based in the UK and have valid eligibility to work full time and travel within the UK. Office locations: Gaydon, Warwick (West Midlands).

What you will do

• Lead the diagnosis of software and systems issues during the development phase of automotive vehicle platforms.
• Coordinate the delivery of software from multiple ECUs to ensure features and systems are properly integrated.
• Perform deep-dive root cause analysis to identify and assist in the resolution of complex software issues.
• Conduct level 1 triage of issue tickets, ensuring accurate data capture and correct urgency levels.
• Maintain and update testing assets and issue registers with high precision and rigour.
• Facilitate regular issue review meetings to ensure clear ownership and timely follow-up across business areas.

Requirements

• Proof of immediate, on-going and valid eligibility to work full time and travel within the UK.
• Degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong knowledge of issue/defect management processes and root cause analysis techniques.
• Solid understanding of software integration principles and dependencies.
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall delivery models and structured project governance frameworks (e.g., PMO).
• Ability to develop and present metrics, KPIs, and performance dashboards.
