What you will do
- Develop algorithms for traditional and electrified powertrain and transmission control systems.
- Manage the full V-cycle process, including requirements management, design, implementation, and formal testing.
- Take ownership of software module delivery as assigned by the lead.
- Implement functional safety standards and ensure designs are fit for purpose.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively across global teams and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Must be based in or able to work onsite in Warwickshire, UK.
- Master’s degree in automotive systems engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of two years of experience in software development for engineering.
- Core experience in model-based algorithm design using Matlab/Simulink or Ascet-SD.
- Deep understanding of vehicle communication networks such as CAN, CAN-FD, and XCP.
- Awareness of functional safety and cybersecurity practices.
