What you will do

• Develop algorithms for traditional and electrified powertrain and transmission control systems.
• Manage the full V-cycle process, including requirements management, design, implementation, and formal testing.
• Take ownership of software module delivery as assigned by the lead.
• Implement functional safety standards and ensure designs are fit for purpose.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively across global teams and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Warwickshire, UK.
• Master’s degree in automotive systems engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of two years of experience in software development for engineering.
• Core experience in model-based algorithm design using Matlab/Simulink or Ascet-SD.
• Deep understanding of vehicle communication networks such as CAN, CAN-FD, and XCP.
• Awareness of functional safety and cybersecurity practices.
