Senior Security Engineer (AI)

hirify.global is building an AI-powered system of action for community-based care, supporting behavioral health, hospice, home health, and other care teams.

What you will do

• Act as a security architect for new initiatives by participating in design reviews, creating threat models, reference designs, and decision documents.
• Partner with product and engineering teams to translate security requirements, technical trade-offs, and risks.
• Own security across AWS, GCP, and Azure, including identity, networking, workload, and data protection controls.
• Build defenses for LLM and ML systems, including prompt injection, model abuse, training-data integrity, agentic workflows, MCP and tool-use exposure, and AI supply-chain risks.
• Lead data security initiatives covering classification, encryption, key management, DLP, access governance, and data-flow mapping.
• Evaluate and deploy security technologies, automate controls, build internal tools, contribute to detection pipelines, and integrate security into CI/CD.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in security engineering, application security, or cloud security, including hands-on technical work.
• Strong software development background with experience shipping production code and reviewing code.
• Deep experience securing multi-cloud environments, including IAM, networking, workload security, and infrastructure as code.
• Ability to identify trust boundaries, blast radius, failure modes, and effective controls from system architectures.
• Hands-on experience with data security at scale, including classification, encryption, key management, and access controls.
• Direct experience with AI/ML security, LLM applications, agentic systems, model deployments, or AI infrastructure.
