What you will do

• Manage end-to-end commercial delivery of construction and infrastructure projects across a portfolio of capital programmes.
• Lead full tendering and procurement processes, including strategy development, supplier engagement, and contract award.
• Provide financial management covering budgeting, cost planning, forecasting, cashflow, and final account close-out.
• Administer contracts and manage commercial interfaces, focusing on change control, variations, and dispute avoidance.
• Identify and mitigate commercial risks and opportunities through governance frameworks and value optimisation.
• Collaborate with internal teams and the supply chain to provide commercial insight and influence outcomes.

Requirements

• Proactive approach with a strong willingness to learn and develop within the construction industry.
• Analytical mindset with interest in contracts, commercial processes, and construction supply chains.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborative teamwork.
• Proven ability to prioritize multiple competing tasks in high-pressure project environments.
• Must be based in or able to work from Manchester, UK
