What you will do

  • Review borrower paperwork for Loss Mitigation assistance applications to determine completeness and adequacy for underwriter review.
  • Identify missing documentation and issue official acknowledgement or missing-item letters.
  • Maintain strict adherence to timelines required by the CFPB, OCC, and investors (GSE, HUD, VA, USDA, and FDIC).
  • Manage 20-30 inbound and outbound calls daily with customers and third parties to discuss loan status and required documents.
  • Extract data from government sites (FHA, FNMA, FHLMC, VA, HUD) and process incoming mail and faxes.
  • Order credit reports and input data into internal systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 1 year of mortgage experience OR GED/High School Diploma with 4+ years of Mortgage Servicing or Lending experience.
  • Must be based in Irving, TX.
  • Strong working knowledge of Fiserv system and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to understand and calculate income, expenses, and P&L statements.
  • General understanding of basic accounting principles and department operating procedures.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with professional telephone etiquette.
