What you will do

• Execute AAV batch production to support nonclinical research needs.
• Perform regular cell passaging and splitting for various laboratory studies.
• Conduct PCR on samples generated by the Process Development team.
• Manage -80C/LN2 freezer inventory and prepare study sample aliquots.
• Maintain detailed experimental records and reports in Electronic Lab Notebooks (ELN).
• Oversee the maintenance and operation of laboratory equipment and instruments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of laboratory research experience OR Master's degree with 0+ years.
• Solid understanding of common molecular and cellular biology protocols and techniques.
• Hands-on experience with cell culture, aseptic techniques, transient transfection, and ddPCR.
• Proven ability to handle high-value biological samples with high attention to detail.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Boston, MA

Nice to have

• Prior research experience with protein expression systems.
• Experience in HEK293 and/or Sf9 cell culture systems.
• Knowledge of viral vector gene therapy, specifically AAV.
