What you will do

• Execute AAV batch production to support nonclinical research.
• Passage and split cells for laboratory studies.
• Perform PCR on samples generated by the Process Development team.
• Prepare study-sample aliquots and manage -80°C and liquid nitrogen freezer inventories.
• Maintain detailed ELN notebooks and experimental reports.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and critically assess cell and molecular biology data.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years or a master’s degree with 0+ years of academic or industry laboratory research experience.
• Understanding of common molecular and cellular biology protocols and techniques.
• Experience with cell culture, aseptic technique, transient transfection, and ddPCR.
• Experience handling high-value biological samples with strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Experience with protein expression systems, HEK293 or Sf9 cell culture, and AAV viral vector gene therapy is preferred.
