Salary: $255,000 - $320,000 USD

What you will do

• Own end-to-end communications for the Claude Platform, managing capability releases and product updates.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with journalists and creators covering AI platforms and the API economy.
• Prepare and coach platform leaders to be effective spokespeople for press, podcasts, and panels.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to align external narratives with product sales and support.
• Execute communication strategies across press, social, and community channels.

Requirements

• Professional experience in communications, PR, or product marketing for platform, API, or enterprise products.
• Deep understanding of developer culture and enterprise procurement processes.
• Strong instincts for identifying high-impact product moments for external spotlight.
• Proven ability to operate with high agency and a strong bias toward action.
• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice to have

• 8-10 years of experience in communications, PR, or product marketing.
• Experience at an API-first or enterprise software company.
• Existing network of reporters and analysts in the AI and enterprise tech ecosystem.
• Previous experience managing communications for AI or ML products.
• Active engagement with developer communities and platforms like Hacker News.
