What you will do

• Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S Corporations, C Corporations, and trusts/estates.
• Analyze financial statements and documentation to ensure precise tax reporting.
• Identify tax planning opportunities and implement strategies to minimize client tax liabilities.
• Conduct deep tax research to stay hirify.global on evolving laws and regulations.
• Communicate directly with clients to gather information and provide professional guidance.
• Mentor junior staff by reviewing their work and providing training.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (Master’s in Taxation preferred).
• CPA license or active pursuit of CPA required.
• 3–6+ years of public accounting tax experience across various return types.
• Proficiency in tax software (e.g., ProSystem fx, UltraTax) and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work from the Charlotte, NC office.
• Typical working hours must align with EST.
