Salary: $134,400 - $280,000 per year

What you will do

• Manage and mentor a team of site reliability engineers, providing technical guidance and career development.
• Lead hands-on technical problem solving, design reviews, and architecture discussions to enhance system reliability.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to design scalable solutions and reduce operational toil via automation.
• Drive improvements in CI/CD processes, configuration management, and cloud-native infrastructure.
• Define and deliver against team-level SLOs for automation, deployments, and service reliability.
• Balance project priorities and timelines to ensure effective execution of technical initiatives.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of relevant experience, with a minimum of 3 years in technical leadership.
• 5+ years of experience with customer-facing SaaS services and global-scale AWS infrastructure.
• Strong development background in Python, Ruby, or a similar language.
• Experience with infrastructure as code and configuration management (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Chef).
• Proficiency in DevOps, Agile, and CI/CD processes.
