DevOps Engineer

Location: On-site in New York City or San Francisco, with in-person work required 4–5 days per week.

Salary: $230,000–$320,000 annually, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Build, maintain, and improve infrastructure on AWS across multiple environments.
• Design monitoring, alerting, and incident response systems for high availability.
• Automate deployment pipelines and manage CI/CD workflows.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and platform teams to resolve performance, scalability, and reliability issues.
• Improve security and auditability across environments.
• Evaluate and introduce tools that enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

• 3+ years of DevOps or infrastructure engineering experience, preferably in a high-growth startup.
• Strong AWS experience with services including EC2, ECS, RDS, Lambda, and IAM.
• Proficiency in scripting, preferably Python, and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals, including debugging and optimization of complex systems.
• Experience with CI/CD systems such as GitHub Actions.
• Willingness to work in person at the office 4–5 days per week.
