• Organize records and documents to complete the medical record release process.
• Read and interpret medical records, forms, and authorizations to ensure accuracy.
• Support the resolution of HIPAA-related release issues.
• Provide professional customer service via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
• Maintain strict compliance and confidentiality according to company reference materials.

Requirements

• Must be based in Clyde, NC for onsite work.
• HS Diploma or equivalent (some college preferred).
• 2+ years of experience in medical records.
• 2+ years of clerical or office experience.
• Proficiency with desktop computers, scanners, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and state regulations related to Protected Health Information (PHI).
