What you will do

• Greet patients and provide first-level support, including answering questions and processing payments.
• Manage appointment scheduling, insurance benefit verification, and authorization processes.
• Maintain patient files, intake forms, and clinical notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Conduct outbound calls to patients for follow-up hearing tests and consultations.
• Assist with clinic inventory management, supply ordering, and facility maintenance.
• Support community outreach events and prepare daily financial reports for the clinic.

Requirements

• Must be located in or able to commute to Portage, MI.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in a healthcare environment preferred.
• Proven customer service experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and EMR/EHR systems.

Nice to have

• Prior experience or knowledge of hearing aids.
• Experience with EMR/EHR software.
