What you will do

• Request and review medical records to identify relevant clinical information for genetic testing cases.
• Flag missing or incomplete documentation and assist in assembling packets for prior authorization and appeals.
• Monitor case pipelines to ensure timely receipt of required documentation and update internal systems.
• Collaborate with Genetic Counselors, Billing, and Appeals teams to support case movement.
• Contribute to internal projects focused on operational improvement and workflow efficiency.
• Maintain accurate case documentation in compliance with HIPAA and PHI standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in biology, genetics, life sciences, public health, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and interpret medical documentation.
• Comfort working in a data-driven, process-oriented environment.
• Must be authorized to work in the US.

• Academic background in genetics or healthcare-related discipline.
• Experience with medical records, healthcare documentation, or insurance workflows.
