Salary: $178,000 - $235,000

What you will do

• Establish and execute the SBA lending strategy, aligning growth objectives and risk appetite with enterprise goals.
• Lead and develop a high-performing SBA leadership team, managing organizational structure and succession planning.
• Direct end-to-end SBA operations, including loan processing, servicing, liquidation, and guaranteed loan sales.
• Manage financial performance through pricing strategies, gain on sale optimization, and cost efficiencies.
• Ensure full compliance with SBA, federal, state, and bank regulations as the primary subject matter expert.
• Partner cross-functionally with Credit, Risk, Finance, and Business Banking teams to drive execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Law, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in SBA lending, including portfolio management and special credits.
• 8+ years of supervisory or management experience leading teams, projects, or processes.
• Deep expertise in SBA SOPs and the full lending lifecycle.
• Must be based in California.

• MBA or related advanced degree.
• Proven track record of driving operational transformation in complex, regulated environments.
• Advanced financial acumen in portfolio analytics and profitability management.
