What you will do

• Lead the monthly close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting packages.
• Maintain accounting policies, internal controls, and chart of accounts governance.
• Oversee AP, procurement, vendor management, cash forecasting, and treasury operations.
• Manage external audit coordination and tax compliance processes.
• Own and improve accounting systems, integrations, and data integrity.
• Drive AI adoption and process automation to improve efficiency and scalability.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience including month-end close, audit, and tax.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, accrual accounting, and financial reporting.
• Experience with ERP systems and finance process automation.
• Proven ability to lead audits and manage relationships with external advisors.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.
