Senior DevOps Engineer (Cloud-Prem)

Salary: $160,000–$180,000 per year

What you will do

• Own end-to-end installation, configuration, and upgrades of the Kubernetes-based platform in customer-managed AWS, GCP, and Azure environments.
• Troubleshoot unfamiliar customer systems, identify root causes, and create Python or Bash scripts to resolve network, access, and platform issues.
• Partner with enterprise engineering teams during technical onboarding and deployments.
• Develop reusable infrastructure-as-code modules and deployment procedures with Terraform and Helm.
• Maintain the performance and health of PostgreSQL, Redis, container networking, storage, and other infrastructure components.
• Document deployment knowledge and convert one-off fixes into repeatable onboarding processes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of DevOps or infrastructure experience in product-driven B2B SaaS, DevOps tooling, or developer platform companies.
• Experience with customer-facing deployments, technical onboarding, or Field DevOps.
• Expert hands-on experience running, troubleshooting, and tuning production Kubernetes clusters and Docker containers.
• Proficiency with Terraform and Helm across AWS, GCP, and Azure, including customer VPC and tenant environments.
• Understanding of Linux networking, IAM and security policies, storage drivers, PostgreSQL, and Redis.
• Must be located in the Central Time Zone, USA; strong Python or Bash scripting skills and autonomous decision-making are required.

Nice to have

• Software development experience building tools, services, or SDKs.
• Experience with AI/ML developer tools or enterprise developer platforms.
