What you will do
- Manage full-service bookkeeping and financial reporting for a portfolio of at least 10 veterinary practice clients.
- Perform ongoing QuickBooks Online (QBO) bookkeeping, including monthly reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, loans, and payroll.
- Prepare and deliver accurate monthly financial reporting packages by the 15th of each month.
- Lead the onboarding process for new clients, including QBO setup, chart of accounts implementation, and initial bookkeeping cleanup.
- Serve as the primary contact for assigned clients, responding to inquiries within 24 hours and participating in quarterly operational discussions.
- Utilize workflow systems to manage deliverables and collaborate with leadership to improve division efficiency.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting support, or outsourced accounting.
- Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO) is required.
- Proven experience with financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote, US-based environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a client-service-oriented mindset.
