TL;DR

What you will do

  • Manage full-service bookkeeping and financial reporting for a portfolio of at least 10 veterinary practice clients.
  • Perform ongoing QuickBooks Online (QBO) bookkeeping, including monthly reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, loans, and payroll.
  • Prepare and deliver accurate monthly financial reporting packages by the 15th of each month.
  • Lead the onboarding process for new clients, including QBO setup, chart of accounts implementation, and initial bookkeeping cleanup.
  • Serve as the primary contact for assigned clients, responding to inquiries within 24 hours and participating in quarterly operational discussions.
  • Utilize workflow systems to manage deliverables and collaborate with leadership to improve division efficiency.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting support, or outsourced accounting.
  • Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO) is required.
  • Proven experience with financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote, US-based environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a client-service-oriented mindset.

  • Experience with workflow systems such as XCM or similar platforms.
