Location: Primarily on-site in Somerset, NJ, with a remote option available based on demonstrated competence. Must align with EST working hours.

Salary: $65,000–$75,000

What you will do

• Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger reviews.
• Run and analyze QuickBooks reports.
• Process payroll and prepare journal entries and sales tax worksheets.
• File state tax returns upon approval from management.
• Manage client accounts and follow up on completed engagements.
• Support administrative functions as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping experience.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; QuickBooks experience preferred.
• Must be based in the US to facilitate East Coast team collaboration.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work a 56-hour workweek from January through April 15 (including Saturdays).
