What you will do

• Collect and analyze financial information to prepare accurate tax returns.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations by staying current on changes in tax laws.
• Communicate with clients to gather additional information and answer tax-related questions.
• Identify tax deductions and credits to minimize clients’ tax liability.
• Maintain confidentiality of client information and sensitive financial data.
• Meet deadlines by prioritizing workload effectively and delivering high-quality work.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Tax Preparer or in a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
• Proficiency with tax preparation software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• In-office work in Watertown, NY.
