What you will do

• Adjust complex, high-exposure losses requiring advanced technical expertise and negotiation skills.
• Research coverage, identify potential issues, and draft reservation of rights or coverage denials.
• Investigate loss facts by securing statements, expert reports, and supporting documentation.
• Assign and monitor defense counsel, independent adjusters, and experts for litigation.
• Evaluate and recommend reserves while maintaining compliance with Fair Claims Practices.
• Lead strategic roundtable discussions and present complex matters to senior executives.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of claims experience with a focus on complex losses.
• Active New York adjuster license required.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• College degree or equivalent claims management experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Ability to secure additional state adjusting licenses as required.
