Accounting Operations Controller (AI)

What you will do

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual general ledger close, including journal entries, reconciliations, flux analyses, consolidation, and financial reporting.
• Oversee global revenue recognition under ASC 606, including customer contracts, performance obligations, variable consideration, rebates, credits, returns, distributor arrangements, deferred revenue, and contract assets and liabilities.
• Manage worldwide cost accounting for wafer fabrication, assembly and testing, foundry costs, logistics, royalties, manufacturing overhead, standard costing, inventory valuation, reserves, and margin reporting.
• Prepare technical accounting research, whitepapers, SEC disclosures, financial analyses, and support for unique transactions such as M&A.
• Act as the primary liaison for external auditors and internal SOX audits while strengthening ICFR processes and controls.
• Lead Oracle and related business information systems, automation projects, and the use of AI tools to improve accounting efficiency and work quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, including Accounting and Audit courses.
• CPA certification and 10+ years of audit and accounting experience, including at least 5 years in public accounting with US financial audit experience under US GAAP.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, financial reporting, ASC 606 revenue recognition, inventory accounting, and cost accounting.
• Experience leading global close processes, managing complex accounting issues, partnering cross-functionally, and working with public-company reporting requirements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, project management, prioritization, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Hands-on Oracle experience is preferred; experience leading a global close process in a public company is preferred.
