What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs.
• Integrate AI/ML capabilities into production applications, including LLMs, embeddings, and classification.
• Develop and optimize data pipelines and implement retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
• Evaluate and integrate third-party AI tools and services to improve system performance and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ship AI-powered features and contribute to technical architecture.

Requirements

• Strong programming experience in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, PHP, or Go.
• Proven experience building and maintaining backend systems and APIs.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and databases (SQL/NoSQL).
• Experience integrating AI APIs such as OpenAI or Anthropic.
• Understanding of prompt engineering, embeddings, and vector search.
• Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience with vector databases like Pinecone or Weaviate.
• Familiarity with LangChain or LlamaIndex frameworks.
• Knowledge of ML fundamentals (training, fine-tuning, evaluation).
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or event-driven architectures.
• Frontend experience with React or Next.js.
