What you will do

• Develop contracts for agent execution with typed inputs, structured outputs, streaming status, and auditability.
• Build durable APIs and platform services using Python and Django, evolving service boundaries for reliability.
• Implement Kubernetes-backed execution patterns for deployment, scaling, and operational reliability of AI workflows.
• Create fullstack surfaces using React and TypeScript that allow customers to configure and debug AI workflows.
• Design permission-aware data access patterns, retrieval systems, and indexing that respect enterprise boundaries.
• Improve developer and operator experience through better internal tools, diagnostics, and test harnesses.

Requirements

• Strong backend and platform experience with Python, Django, distributed systems, and cloud infrastructure.
• Production proficiency with Kubernetes, queues, and job processing.
• Comfortable with TypeScript and React to shape and build UI product surfaces.
• Must be able to work during US-based time frames.
• Proven ability to use AI tooling (Claude Code, Cursor) to increase leverage without sacrificing judgment or code quality.
• Experience translating complex requirements from scientists and enterprise stakeholders into durable engineering decisions.
