What you will do

• Develop submittal packages including drawings and BOMs by reviewing specifications, proposals, and contract documents.
• Design protective relaying schemes and finalize power envelope designs for low and medium voltage systems.
• Approve switchgear and generator control system designs created by CAD Designers.
• Collaborate with customers, consultants, and leadership to scope and execute projects.
• Support sales and production engineers to ensure a seamless transition from submittal to manufacturing.
• Research new part requirements and coordinate with vendors for successful implementation.

Requirements

• Degree in an accredited Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science curriculum.
• Experience in the design of low and medium voltage switchgear.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify root causes and create alternative solutions.
• High level of precision and attention to detail in processing technical information.
• Effective communication skills for presenting reports and interacting with dealers and consultants.
• Knowledge of project management strategies to plan, monitor, and control deliverables.
