Salary: $145,000 - $200,000 per year

What you will do

  • Lead technical evaluations and trade-off studies across software architecture, controls, cybersecurity, and functional safety.
  • Define and maintain system and interface architectures, allocating requirements to hardware and software functions.
  • Interpret customer, regulatory, and supplier requirements to deploy actionable system specifications.
  • Establish and optimize software creation processes, development workflows, and engineering operating cadences.
  • Guide verification strategies and identify risks early to ensure requirements are validated through test and analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, electrical, manufacturing) to ensure solutions are practical and supportable in the field.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Systems, Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, or Software Engineering.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience within the Engineering industry.
  • Required experience in automotive, commercial vehicle, and/or heavy-duty vehicle product development.
  • Proficiency in requirements management, documentation control, and configuration management.
  • Hands-on experience with troubleshooting, prototyping, and validation in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of systems engineering methods, including requirements decomposition and risk management.
