Location: Field-based in the Somerset Area, United Kingdom (Fully remote from office)

What you will do

• Produce accurate, detailed, and high-quality engineering reports.
• Assess, value, and negotiate vehicle repair costs.
• Provide accurate vehicle valuations and negotiate total loss settlements.
• Apply detailed knowledge of salvage categories to resolve claims.
• Liaise with repairers, customers, and internal teams to deliver quality outcomes.

Requirements

• Qualified to IAEA or ATA (VDA) standard.
• Experience within an insurer or independent engineering environment.
• Strong understanding of claims processes and salvage categorisation.
• Experience using estimating systems such as Audatex, GT Motive, or Glass’s.
• Ability to inspect a wide range of vehicles, including cars, HGVs, agricultural machinery, and caravans.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
