TL;DR

Senior Account Executive (EdTech): Driving revenue growth and managing complex sales cycles for K-12 school district software solutions with an accent on strategic territory management in the Great Lakes region. Location: Must be based in the US (eligible states) or near Austin, TX for hybrid work. Travel up to 50% required within the Great Lakes region (MI, IL, WI, IN).

Salary: $90,000 - $115,000 + commission

What you will do

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive territory strategy to prioritize and capture new business in mid to large-sized K-12 districts.
  • Manage complex, multi-stage sales cycles while maintaining a consistent pipeline of new opportunities.
  • Conduct in-depth discovery sessions to identify client challenges and propose tailored software solutions.
  • Collaborate with marketing, enablement, and executive teams to leverage resources and close deals efficiently.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and adjust strategies based on market feedback and evolving client needs.
  • Engage and influence executive-level decision-makers to demonstrate the value of the platform.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in complex, mid-market sales cycles.
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% within the Great Lakes region (MI, IL, WI, IN).
  • Proficiency in sales methodologies such as GAP, Solution, Challenger, or SPIN Selling.
  • Strong territory management acumen and entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for high-level decision-makers.

Nice to have

  • Experience with ERP platforms or products specifically within the K-12 sector.
