Salary: $97,600–$134,200

What you will do

• Translate statistical analysis plans into R code to generate analytic datasets and inferential statistics.
• Develop subject matter expertise in EHR-derived real-world data, clinico-genomics, and claims data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver client-sponsored research studies.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of proprietary analytical tooling and templates.
• Develop a deeper understanding of methodologies used to generate real-world evidence.

Requirements

• Doctorate degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, Data Science, or related field with no industry experience, OR Master’s with 2-3 years experience, OR Bachelor’s with 4-5 years experience.
• Excellent programming skills in R, including tidyverse.
• Experience working in Git-based environments.
• Experience with large healthcare-related datasets such as claims or electronic medical records.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment with 3 office days per week in Durham.

Nice to have

• Experience working with oncology datasets.
• Experience in a pharmaceutical or HEOR consulting environment.
