What you will do

• Contribute to the overall quality of features from the earliest design stages through verification, deployment, and production support.
• Develop and execute strategies to continuously increase test coverage and decrease execution time.
• Build and maintain the test automation harness as part of the continuous integration pipeline.
• Design and execute diverse tests including functional, integration, end-to-end, security, and performance.
• Develop custom tools to support automated testing of products.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders and team members regarding technical issues and project timelines.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Extensive experience in functional testing, including strategy, planning, and test case design.
• Expertise with automated testing tools and frameworks for both frontend and backend systems.
• Understanding of LLM and Generative AI concepts and their typical use cases.
• Experience with Docker and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Proficiency in API testing (RESTful, gRPC).
• Must be based in Toronto, Canada for hybrid work.

Nice to have

• Experience with Cypress, Playwright, or WebdriverIO.
• Hands-on experience setting up or operating LLM and Generative AI applications.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Pulumi.
• Experience with container orchestration systems (Kubernetes, ECS, GKE, EKS).
• Experience testing high-availability PaaS or SaaS offerings on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Knowledge of the Lua programming language.
