What you will do

• Develop and optimize gameplay systems, including player controls, camera, and combat mechanics.
• Create and maintain tooling and scripting systems to empower content and design teams.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with animation, design, and technical art to ensure high visual and gameplay quality.
• Conduct code reviews and maintain high engineering standards within the studio.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers in gameplay system development (for Senior roles).

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in C++ and debugging.
• Experience shipping AAA titles.
• Solid foundation in mathematics, specifically linear algebra and trigonometry.
• Expertise in gameplay areas such as vehicle control, weapon systems, or narrative systems.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple technical and creative disciplines.

Nice to have

• Experience with multiplayer game environments.
• Knowledge of animation systems such as motion matching, IK, and finite state machines.
• Proficiency with physics middleware like Havok or PhysX.
• Experience contributing to in-house engine development.
