What you will do

• Provide technical designs for new engine features and adapt existing Unreal 5 systems to fulfill project requirements.
• Develop low-level systems, including streaming, generic serialization, and other core engine components.
• Collaborate with programming and production teams to devise and implement optimal technical solutions.
• Maintain the core engine and manage technical integrations from Epic Games.
• Research and implement advanced coding techniques and algorithms to keep the project at the forefront of industry developments.
• Own and drive the resolution of critical performance-related issues.

Requirements

• 5+ years of programming experience with Unreal Engine on commercial game projects.
• At least one shipped AAA game as a senior or principal systems programmer.
• Expert proficiency in C/C++.
• Strong understanding of multiprocessor programming and core engine systems.
• Experience with multi-platform software projects, preferably within action, FPS, or 3PS titles.
• Proficiency in French (for Quebec residents) and English (for US collaboration) is required.
