What you will do

• Develop high-quality authored and procedural animation systems in collaboration with Animators and Gameplay Programmers.
• Expand and improve animation technology within the proprietary Cobra engine.
• Profile and optimize animation systems across both the engine and the game.
• Plan and manage tasks independently with minimal oversight.
• Mentor other team members to foster technical growth.

Requirements

• Strong modern C++ programming skills.
• Working knowledge of animation systems, including complex locomotion and naturalistic behaviors.
• Experience creating physics-driven or procedural animation systems that integrate with authored assets.
• Proactive problem-solving and effective communication skills.
• Ability to provide and receive constructive feedback for continuous improvement.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Maya and game asset pipelines.
• Experience profiling and optimizing for modern consoles.
• Track record of animation programming in AAA games.
• Comfort working within a large, complex codebase.
