What you will do

• Lead discovery with customer engineers to identify bottlenecks and define clear success metrics.
• Design and build AI-powered workflows such as large-scale refactors, migrations, and PR review loops.
• Ship fast initial versions and harden them into reliable production systems with proper rollout and monitoring.
• Own production quality, including tracing, evals, metrics, and debugging model behavior.
• Collaborate directly with Staff+ and Platform leaders to communicate tradeoffs and results.
• Translate custom builds into reusable patterns to improve the core Cursor product.

Requirements

• Proven experience building and owning AI-native workflows in production.
• Ability to turn ambiguous problems into clear scopes and shipped systems.
• Strong proficiency in Python and TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Experience with production reliability, including metrics, alerts, and incident response.
• Ability to handle end-to-end development across frontend, backend, infra, and prompt iteration.
• Must be based in London or the EMEA region.
