TL;DR
AI Forward Deployed Engineer (AI/Python/TypeScript): Designing and deploying AI-powered applications that connect organizational data to business decisions with an accent on client collaboration, LLM integration, and rapid production delivery. Focus on building RAG pipelines, translating business requirements into maintainable architectures, and validating solutions from concept to production.
Location: Mexico City, Mexico; hybrid workplace
Salary: MXN 70,000–140,000 per month

What you will do
- Design, scope, and deploy AI-powered solutions with clients and internal teams.
- Build and iterate production applications using Python and Next.js with TypeScript.
- Integrate LLMs, RAG pipelines, and other AI tools into end-to-end workflows.
- Translate business requirements into clean, maintainable technical architectures.
- Prototype and validate ideas rapidly, moving solutions from concept to production.
- Communicate technical trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of professional experience in software engineering, data engineering, or a related technical role.
- Strong proficiency in Python and TypeScript or JavaScript; Next.js experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts.
- Comfort working in fast-paced, client-facing environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Spanish and English.
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, or AI-powered applications.
- Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Knowledge of data pipelines, ETL, or analytics engineering.
- Background in consulting, professional services, or forward-deployed engineering.
- Open-source contributions or a portfolio of AI/ML work.
