Salary: $120,406 - $201,080 (Colorado range)

What you will do

• Develop technical specifications for steam generation, draft, and air quality control equipment.
• Perform technical evaluations of bids and coordinate with manufacturers to select design solutions.
• Review supplier drawings and documents for conformance to specifications and contracts.
• Integrate equipment designs with other engineering disciplines for overall project success.
• Support startup, commissioning, and proposal efforts for new business.
• Mentor junior staff and present at technical conferences.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
• Licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE) in the USA or Canada.
• Working knowledge of design codes like ASME Section VIII and NFPA 85.
• Ability to travel 10-25% for project support and factory acceptance tests.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with LNG, offshore LNG, ammonia, or fertilizer plants.
• Experience with coal-fired power plants and combustion turbines.
• Familiarity with US EPA regulations (BACT, CEMS).
