TL;DR

Operational Risk Manager (Fintech): Leading resilience assurance and crisis management sub-programs within the Governance & Controls Assurance team with an accent on designing physical and technical resilience controls. Focus on maturing operational risk frameworks, ensuring regulatory compliance, and leveraging AI/automation to enhance risk mitigation and reporting.

Location: Must be based in Seattle, WA (Hybrid: 3 days/week in-office)

Salary: $128,000–$160,000

What you will do

  • Lead Resilience Assurance and Crisis Management sub-programs across the enterprise.
  • Design and test controls for physical and technical resilience.
  • Perform operational risk identification and assessments within business units.
  • Coordinate table-top exercises and manage remediation of identified risks.
  • Develop risk metrics and control indicators to ensure alignment with risk appetite.
  • Leverage AI and automation tools to maximize efficiency in tracking and reporting.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Operational Risk, including Crisis Management.
  • Experience maturing controls within a large, customer-focused financial services organization.
  • Knowledge of industry-standard resilience frameworks such as EU DORA and ISO27001.
  • Proven ability to manage stakeholders through organizational change and maturation.
  • Must be based in Seattle, WA and able to work in-office at least 50% of the time.
  • Strong communication skills to report risks and decisions to senior management.
