What you will do

• Own day-to-day operations, reliability, and performance of platforms including Snowflake, Oracle Exadata, Talend, Denodo, and Informatica IDMC.
• Implement and evolve DataOps standards, tooling, and operational processes.
• Drive platform optimization across performance, cost, resiliency, and user experience.
• Support analytics and data science teams by enabling smooth data onboarding and issue resolution.
• Monitor platform health through logging, alerting, and operational dashboards.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote platform engineering best practices.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in data platform engineering, data infrastructure, or analytics platform operations.
• Proven experience with Talend, Snowflake, Oracle Exadata, Denodo, and Informatica IDMC.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience writing and optimizing complex SQL queries.
• 3+ years of experience designing Data Marts using Dimensional Modeling.
• Must be based in Richmond, Virginia for hybrid work.
• High School Diploma or equivalency.

Nice to have

• Experience with infrastructure as code or automation frameworks.
• Familiarity with cloud data platform optimization, cost management, and governance models.
