TL;DR

Real Estate Debt Valuation Analyst (Fintech): Performing debt valuation and appraisal management for commercial property investors with an accent on DCF modeling, loan document review, and market analysis. Location: Hybrid (Offices in Irvine, Los Angeles, and Atlanta, GA)

Salary: $55,000 – $85,000 USD

What you will do

  • Perform debt valuation and appraisal management, including asset summary and lender package reviews.
  • Conduct market and submarket analysis to determine reasonable valuation assumptions for properties.
  • Develop discounted cash flow (DCF) models using Excel and ARGUS Enterprise.
  • Analyze loan documents, promissory notes, and third-party collateral appraisal reports.
  • Monitor capital markets changes using Bloomberg and analyze Federal Reserve decisions and treasury rate movements.

Requirements

  • University or college degree in Real Estate, Finance, or a related field preferred (minimum 3.5 GPA).
  • Must be based in or able to work from the US (Irvine, Los Angeles, or Atlanta).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (v-lookups, Index/Match, pivot tables).
  • Strong attention to detail and professional business writing skills.
  • Ability to communicate proactively and work both independently and in a team environment.

Nice to have

  • Internship experience within the Commercial Real Estate (CRE) industry.
  • Prior experience with ARGUS software.
