Private Credit Analyst (Investment Grade Private Credit)

What you will do

• Analyze private debt transactions, borrowing entities, offering materials, management information, and independent research.
• Assess credit quality, assign internal ratings, evaluate pricing and relative value, and prepare investment recommendations.
• Collaborate with legal partners on transaction terms, amendments, waivers, and covenant-related matters.
• Prepare and present investment memoranda, supporting materials, and recommendations to senior leadership and investment committees.
• Monitor portfolio credit quality, financial performance, covenant compliance, borrower relationships, and changes in internal ratings.
• Maintain deal records, update credit monitoring systems, respond to portfolio-related requests, and conduct due diligence including facility visits where appropriate.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• At least two years of corporate credit experience; exposure to private or public bond markets is preferred.
• Strong credit analysis skills, including the ability to assess corporate credits and infrastructure projects.
• Experience with loan documents, covenant packages, accounting standards, and financial statement analysis.
• Advanced Excel knowledge and strong financial modeling capabilities.
• Excellent written and oral presentation skills, stakeholder communication, time management, and teamwork.

Nice to have

• CFA designation or active pursuit of the CFA qualification.
• Experience with private or public bond markets.
