Salary: $138,500 - $188,000 USD

What you will do

• Design and build predictive customer behavior models for targeting and personalization.
• Implement and deliver ML or statistics-based algorithms for prediction and optimization to production.
• Take end-to-end ownership of ML systems using AI-assisted vibe coding workflows (Cursor, Claude, GitHub Copilot).
• Develop automated evaluation harnesses, test frameworks, and benchmarks to ensure safe and repeatable AI/ML deployment.
• Build and maintain data pipelines using HDFS, Hadoop, Kafka, and Spark.
• Present technical findings and actionable insights to product and technical leads.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computational Economics, or similar.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Python and Java.
• Proficiency with ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Spark MLlib.
• Strong SQL skills for data exploration and analysis.
• Ability to design scalable, reliable, high-performance system architectures.
• Experience building automated evaluation harnesses and following a TDD process.

Nice to have

• Experience with recommendation systems, ranking algorithms, or personalization at scale.
• Familiarity with real-time ML and large-scale data mining.
