What you will do

• Integrate AI/ML capabilities into dozens of automated and manual DoD data feeds to modernize the Joint Logistics Common Operating Picture.
• Translate complex business questions into technical solutions using available DoD data sources and mission-level modeling outputs.
• Design and implement robust data ingestion and cleaning pipelines for AI/ML models and stochastic simulations.
• Develop applications, simulation dashboards, and data visualizations to communicate insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with client leadership to align technical work with strategic business value and mission objectives.
• Serve as a technical ambassador to promote data literacy and modeling proficiency across the enterprise.

Requirements

• Active Secret security clearance is required (TS/SCI eligibility preferred).
• Must be based in Tampa, FL for on-site work.
• 8+ years of professional experience in data science, analytics, or Operations Research.
• Master’s degree in a quantitative STEM discipline (Statistics, Computer Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or related).
• Proficiency in functional programming languages such as Python, R, or Scala, and strong SQL skills.
• Experience with Modeling & Simulation (M&S) frameworks such as AFSIM, EADSIM, or STORM.

Nice to have

• Ph.D. in a quantitative STEM discipline.
• Experience with GovCloud, AWS, or Azure platforms.
• Experience with Spark, Databricks, Tableau, PowerBI, or R/Shiny.
• Familiarity with DoD logistics data and USCENTCOM mission sets.
