Salary: $190,000–$264,000 USD (based on location).

What you will do

• Architect and lead the design of an end-to-end, performant, and scalable data platform.
• Solve complex distributed systems challenges while maintaining high-quality, reliable solutions.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers to deliver next-generation product features.
• Collaborate with product and design stakeholders to resolve ambiguities and ship rapid MVPs.
• Instrument and deploy product experiments using a data-driven approach.
• Monitor, triage, and resolve production issues for core services.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience designing and delivering highly scalable data platforms.
• Expert-level proficiency in PySpark, Python, and SQL.
• Deep expertise in data modeling, relational databases, and NoSQL stores like MongoDB.
• Strong experience with big data technologies including Kafka, Spark, Iceberg, and data lakes.
• Extensive experience with the AWS stack (EKS, EMR, Glue, Athena, S3).
• Must be able to work from a hub location (Denver, San Francisco, or Nashville) 3+ days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience with Databricks or Snowflake.
